Hattelco AS is a company that is 100% owned by Jakob Hatteland Logistics AS. Its main office is in Arendal and there are sales offices in Stockholm, Haugesund and Oslo.
Today the Hattelco Group has approximately 70 qualified workers and will realise NOK 1.3 billion this year.
Today Hattelco AS is a distributor of computer-related products. Our aim is to always give our customers the quickest and most precise information possible. This is part of out business goal. If you choose to work with us, you will get faster and more precise information than from other distributors. When you telephone us you do not need to deal with many different people. Everyone here who has contact with customers has the required logistical and technological expertise to give information directly.
Deliveries and logistics
We work with Posten and Tollpost Globe for all our deliveries. Posten and Tollpost Globe have an extremely advanced logistics system where it is possible to follow goods during the shipping process. See www.posten.no. There is a separate search system for goods sent via Tollpost Globe, see www.tollpost.no. Hattelco uses the "Rambase" logistics system that was developed by Jakob Hatteland Computer AS. An extremely flexible system that can be easily customised as required. We can, therefore, easily adapt warehouse and delivery logistics according to the customer's needs with the aid of EDI, among other things. Hattelco also has an extremely flexible Internet shop that is updated in real time.
Hattelco's motto is "Precise information". By this we mean that you will always get faster, more accurate and honest answers to your questions from the person who is responding. With us you do not need to start by stating your customer number and then reading out lots of item numbers. We have people here who can answer your questions and we know what we are selling!
Hattelco will secure competitive solutions for its customers and will operate an environmentally-focused business in relation to both the working and the external environment. This demands qualitative procedures and staff awareness. Hattelco has gained certification for all of its logistics machines through Det Norske Veritas (DNV), for both the ISO quality standard 9001:2000 and the Environmental Control Board standard, ISO 14001:2004.
